Our Goal: Climate Net Zero by 2027

Aligned with Levy UK + Ireland’s sustainability vision, we are aiming to achieve climate net zero by 2027. This means we are taking active steps to reduce our carbon footprint across all areas of our operations, from ingredient sourcing to food preparation and waste management.

We are constantly innovating and adopting new methods to reduce emissions and promote eco-friendly practices.

Many of our racecourses are home to their own herb gardens. These gardens provide fresh herbs that are used in our dishes, enhancing the flavours with sustainable ingredients grown on-site.

At Haydock Park, we are especially proud of our orchard, where we grow a variety of fruits that are used throughout the racecourse in our menus. This initiative showcases our commitment to reducing food miles and offering fresh, home-grown produce in our catering.

We have introduced 'Foodsteps' a carbon labelling tool, which enables our customers' to make more informed, sustainable food choices when visiting our racecourses. With this tool, every dish is transparently labelled with its carbon footprint on our menus, helping us and our customers reduce emissions together.
