WHAT MAKES US EPSOM?

Epsom's Herb Garden

In January 2024, the team built and created a garden in an unused area with the vision to use the home-grown herbs and vegetables in menus at our racedays. Fast forward to May 2024, and the garden produced mint, parsley, radish, mange tout, carrots, thyme, sage and peas that were used in a variety of menus across the Summer.

The Roux Partnership

Chez Roux @ Blue Riband celebrated its 10th year at the Betfred Derby Festival in 2024. The partnership offers an exquisite fine dining experience.

Innovative Retail Offerings

We pride ourselves in evolving our retail spaces each season. The 2024 Betfred Derby Festival saw Cedric's launch for the first time. Cedric's overlooks the famous winning post and offers interactive food stations, sushi, small plates and also partners with Nyetimber to offer delicious English sparkling wine.

Epsom's earliest racedays were in the 1640s. The first recorded race meeting in the country took place at Epsom on 7 March 1661, in the presence of Charles II.
